Sharing Stories and Finding Joy // Special Guest Sabrina Must (Episode 69)

When it comes to living joyfully, when is the last time you really pushed yourself outside of your comfort zone, challenged yourself, or explored new ways of finding or creating joy?

We all have our go-to answers for what brings us joy in life, but when we limit ourselves to what’s comfortable and familiar, we risk missing out on experiences that will help us learn, grow, and experience more joy.

Sabrina Must is an inspiring writer and entrepreneur who shares stories of her life –the ups, the downs, and everything in between – and inspires others to do the same. She believes in taking adventures, being intentional about pursuing the things that align with your own unique flavor of joy, and loving and learning as you go.

At age 21, Sabrina’s world was turned upside down when her sister committed suicide. She found herself in the darkest of places, with a level of grief that seemed impossible to overcome.

She found herself turning to writing as a way to navigate through her emotions, and discovered that, as she allowed herself to express her own feelings and her own journey, her life became enriched and expanded in unexpected ways.

Sabrina has since written two books – “Must Girls Love,” and “Living Witnesses: Faces of the Holocaust and Triumph Over Tragedy.” Through these books and her blog, she continues to share her love of writing and her passion for sharing and connecting through the journey of life.

As you listen to this episode, you can’t help but feel a sense of freedom and inspiration to self-evaluate, reach for new heights, and share your truth with those around you. In the words of Marianne Williamson, “As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Sabrina reminds us that we each deserve to be happy, to feel fulfilled, and to have joy in every aspect of our lives. We so often get held back by fear or comparison and end up playing small, hiding from struggle, and pushing down our emotions.

The beautiful truth is that joy comes when we not only face our fears, but push beyond them, when we allow ourselves to experience struggle, when we get honest with ourselves, and when we step up to share in authenticity with others.

I invite you to dive into your own story and challenge yourself to discover new opportunities for happiness, growth, and authenticity in your life. Be confident, be brave, and believe that you are worth creating a beautiful, joy filled journey!

Everyday Joy When Life Gets Messy (Episode 68)

In any given moment, it can feel like things are falling apart, coming together, and changing. And, while life looks a little messy and I feel myself continue to adapt and adjust to the present flow in my world, I feel compelled to pause and come share with you some of the things I have learned and principles that I believe help us rise to the occasion of whatever our individual path looks like.

An interesting thing happens in the creation process of heart and soul projects… we start to believe that when we FINALLY reach that finish line, everything will be okay. And yet, it’s when we attach to an outcome or result, that’s when our present moment becomes uncomfortable and insufficient.

The beautiful reality is that it’s totally okay that things are coming together AND falling apart at any given time! Honor that those feelings can – and usually do – exist at the same time MOST of the time in life, and you will feel free from the pressure of finish lines and expectations.

In order to really live joyfully in the present moment, recognize that when you are creating big, heartfelt, soulful things, the process is both MIRACULOUS AND MESSY!

As we allow ourselves to LOVE WHAT IS throughout every season, we are able to let go of the attachment to things falling apart or coming together and what that finish line might be, things really do work out in the right timing and flow.

Authenticity and Living By Design // Special Guest Kamila Gornia (Episode 67)

Do you live with an intention to CREATE a life you love? Or you do, like so many of us, feel lost in the decisions and responsibilities that you encounter each day?

Our guest today, Kamila Gornia, is a business and marketing coach with a passion for helping entrepreneurs discover their own unique voice and gain the confidence and tools for sharing it with the world.

Kamila breaks down the top 3 things that make up her unique flavor of joyful living – FUN, SELF-EXPRESSION, and FREEDOM – and shares her perspective on how taking off those masks we wear and stepping into our own truth is a vital piece of designing a successful and joyful life.

Whether it’s a social night out or enjoying laughter and great company with close friends, being intentional about how she spends her time and who she spends it with allows for the fun, inspiration, and support that are so needed to live in joy as a woman and business owner.

After years of feeling the need to mask parts of her personality as a teenager coming to America from Poland, then experiencing the pressure be something she wasn’t and to hide parts of who she was in life and business as an adult, Kamila talks about how she experienced some pretty serious wake up calls in her life.

Realizing that she didn’t want to leave the world without living the life she was meant to live, she began the process of busting through the same doubts and struggles so many of us feel and now enjoys feeling confident in being herself.

We dive into the power of feeling free – free to travel, free to do the things you love to do, and free to design each day around what you desire – and we talk about the fears, beliefs, and self-imposed limitations that sometimes hold us back from enjoying the freedom we desire.

Kamila sheds light on the challenges many of her clients experience, one of which is a preoccupation with needing to be liked. She talks about the difference between trying to be someone you’re not and achieving a lukewarm level of popularity or approval versus living fully in your truth, being authentically you and finding your unique tribe of people that will absolutely love you for it.

The truth is, whether it’s in life or in business, people are attracted to authenticity. We like, follow, listen, and buy from people that we feel are genuine. We are also more attracted to people and causes we believe in, rather than inauthentic brands or forged personalities.

Kamila reminds us that it takes COURAGE to be who you are and to share it with the world, and as we believe in ourselves and TRUST that when we show up with authenticity, things will work out, we really can begin to design a life filled with success, support, and joy.

In Flow + On Fire (Episode 66)

Do you feel the call of a dream or idea that you long to bring to life? Are there desires and strengths that you feel you were born to create and share?

Building those desires of the heart and soul and bringing them into realization is a miraculous journey to embark on. My desire is to help others create and bring their heart and soul projects to life while living IN FLOW and ON FIRE.

In a society tells us that we need to “hustle,” and that creation in life and in business should be forceful or that we need only to push forward and “make it happen,” I invite you to remember to enjoy the moment, be aware of your humanity, and to know that there is a more peaceful way to build and thrive.

In this episode, we dive into what it really means to create in a divinely feminine way and how sometimes the creation process requires us to recognize the difference between when to hustle and when to surrender. We talk about the ability to overcome fear and to truly create in flow, in peace, and in harmony.

Over the past year, I have stepped into my own soulful calling and have taken my energy work and coaching to a level that I never even thought possible. In doing so, I have seen my own life and business expand and explode into a state of pure flow.

My path has led me to some interesting discoveries and realizations that have stretched me in ways that felt scary and even painful at times. As I have leaned into the journey, I have learned to let go of my need for my own heart and soul project to happen in a certain way at a certain time and to surrender to the Divinity that guides me forward.

I can’t wait to share with you more of my journey and to gather together in support and creativity, to cheer each other on in this journey of allowing a heart and soul project to develop exactly how it’s supposed to – in flow with their health, family, home, finances, and relationships.
If you find yourself in a place of discovery or feel your soul burning with a YES to this idea of birthing your heart and soul project in flow and on fire, I offer you this invitation and reminder: the world needs your gifts, your love, and your beauty. Your heart and soul dreams and projects matter. Your joy matters.

Living Inspired On and Off the Yoga Mat // Special Guest: Crystal Gray (Episode 65)

Joyful living doesn’t just happen overnight and it’s not a destination to reach. Living joyfully is a practice and a way of truly experiencing life.

Crystal Gray joins us to tell us about her joyful living journey and share with us her insight on finding inspiration, being guided by intuition, and truly living with joy.

Crystal has been teaching yoga for over 10 years. She is a certified Health Coach, organic vegetable farmer, wife, and mother, and she loves helping people find health, hope, and the support they need to reach their goals and live a life more joyful than they ever thought possible.

Joyful living, for Crystal, means being led by her INSPIRATION and INTUITION. Finding joy and balance in life involves taking a step back, slowing things down, and trying not to force things to happen.

Instead of focusing on attracting a certain job, car, house, or point of success into her life, Crystal has learned to focus on things like simply trying to find joy in her life. She has found that this approach frees people from the expectations we often attached to the things we think will bring us happiness and opens us up to the joyful experiences life has to offer.

Rather than speeding through life or just going through the motions, Crystal talks about starting each day with intention and inspiration. The decision to slow things down has helped her stay focused and remain present in the moment, so that the hours and days don’t just pass by in a blur.

Spirituality – connecting with our own intuition and the divinity within us, as Crystal defines it – was the start of her wellness and joyful living journey. While she embarked on adventures with her diet, lifestyle, and yoga practice, she also battled her own addictions, insecurities, and limiting beliefs.

What she found along the way is that JOY LIVES IN THE BODY as well as in the heart and soul.

She encourages us, as women, to step more fully into our womanhood and to be comfortable in our bodies, to slow down, tune in, and really be connected with our bodies.

Crystal reminds us that, just like there is no such thing as a perfect post on the yoga mat, there is no such thing as perfect in our lives! It’s not so much about getting to a certain place or checking off those boxes in life, in relationships, or even in yoga… but it’s more about being honest about where you’re at and living according to your inspiration and intuition.

As you listen to Crystal’s story and the way she helps others discover joy, balance, and peace, you can’t help but feel inspired to let go of your ideas of perfection, to slow down, tune in, and truly connect with your unique purpose.

Overcoming Challenges and Sparkling Your Way Through Life // Special Guest Tori Sullivant (Episode 64)

Triumph over tragedy and victory over victimhood. If anyone knows the power and truth that lies within those statements and states of being, it’s Tori Sullivant.

Tori spent years battling constant “less-than syndrome,” as she calls it. She has been through challenges and has experienced pain far beyond what some of us can imagine, but she faces the adventure of this life with strength, patience, and a determination to find JOY.

With unrelenting grace and a smile that stretches far beyond her struggles, Tori reminds us that happiness, fulfillment, peace, and true joy aren’t places we arrive at or mile markers that we reach, but they are choices we make and habits we develop over time.

Listen in as Tori shares pieces of her life story and insight into CHOOSING JOY each and every day.

She reminds us that gratitude is the gateway to joy and shares her favorite ways to not only practice, but to multiply joy in her life and in the lives of others.

You’ll learn a bit about some of the specific obstacles that she helps other women overcome – things like pity and comparison – and the tools Tori has found to be most helpful in helping women rise above the darkness and truly live life to the fullest.

ABOUT TORI SULLIVANT // TORISULLIVANT.COM

Tori is a joy seeker and trauma thriver…the word survivor just doesn’t cut it. After watching two towns she called home be ripped apart by tornados, surviving a terrorist bombing, receiving terrifying medical diagnoses, battling severe PTSD and anxiety, and losing her son she was tired of feeling like a victim. She set out on a journey to find joy and sparkle her way through life when it seemed impossible.

Tori’s gift is helping people honor their hurt, find their inner strength, and fall in love with their life. A former teacher, Tori shifted her focus following the death of her son to become a lifestyle coach who helps clients overcome trauma, limiting beliefs, and mindset blocks so they can learn to live with joy. Having been through it all and risen from the proverbial ashes, Tori gets down in the trenches with her clients and battles with them. Her clients learn to honor their hurt and find beauty in their brokenness.

Tori reminds us that we don’t have to be defined by the darkness in our life, but instead, by how we choose to rise from it.
